FK Željezničar Announces a Public Call for Coaches in the Club’s Youth Academy – Multiple Positions
Through this public call, FK Željezničar is opening applications for all coaching positions in the Youth Academy, taking into account the announced reorganization of the Academy across all age categories in the upcoming period.
Our desire and clear goal is to return the FK Željezničar Youth Academy to its former glory as soon as possible, and this move represents one of the first and important steps on that path. Throughout its rich history, Željezničar has produced a large number of players for its own first team as well as for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, and it is precisely this development path that the Club is determined to return to as soon as possible.
Public Call
Job Description:
- Proposes and implements work programs for the assigned age category, approved by the Club’s Management Board;
- Organizes and conducts training sessions, matches, and other activities of the assigned age category;
- Regularly attends meetings of the Youth Academy coaching staff;
- Regularly holds informational meetings with parents/guardians of the participants;
- Is responsible for results and complies with the requirements of the Youth Academy Director related to the implementation of professional work programs approved by the Club’s Management Board;
- Prepares a written training plan for each training session on the appropriate form;
- Regularly (for each match) prepares a match report;
- Maintains regular records of players in the assigned age category;
- Monitors equipment hygiene, personal hygiene, and the hygiene of facilities used by the assigned age category;
- Maintains regular communication with the Youth Academy coordinator;
- Periodically submits work reports to the Youth Academy Director, to whom they are accountable for their work;
- Performs assigned duties responsibly and professionally within their scope of work, and, when necessary, other duties in accordance with their professional capacities and job description.
Application Requirements:
- Minimum completed secondary education;
- UEFA Pro, A, B, or C coaching license (at least one required);
- UEFA Elite Youth A license preferred;
- Proof of previous work experience (contract, letter of recommendation, certificate of completed work, etc.) issued by the employer;
- Computer literacy (MS Office package – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
- Knowledge of English is recommended.

- Proof of meeting the application requirements.
Special Note:
All interested candidates are eligible to apply for this public call. Candidates without previous work experience will be considered for trainee coach positions, for which an upper age limit of 30 years applies. Priority in selection under this public call will be given to candidates with previous work experience, as well as those who have passed through the youth selections of FK Željezničar.
